ILP: Structure and Outcomes

ILP Structure

As you would expect from Trailblaze, although the Inspirational Leadership Programme has a core development process at its heart, the programme is flexible and is based on the needs of each organisation.

The standard Programme consists of 2 workshops: ILP1 delivered over 4 days and ILP Follow Up delivered over 3 days, approx. nine months later.  This extended period between workshops not only enables individuals and organisations to start seeing sustainable changes in terms of both behaviour and bottom line results but also informs the work to be undertaken during the Follow Up.

ILP Outcomes

As a result of the Inspirational Leadership Programme, delegates will have:

  • thoroughly reviewed their current situation and identified the key business, strategic, leadership and personal issues facing them as leaders and be committed and motivated to tackle them
  • developed personal insights into their own leadership style; knowing which strengths to leverage and understanding how to manage any areas for development
  • raised their awareness of the bigger picture within the organisation and understand how they can impact it
  • developed a clear vision, strategy and goals for themselves as leaders, for their teams and for their future development
  • identified and addressed the key actions they need to take in order to improve their own performance and that of their teams
  • practised how to coach others and how to give feedback to team members in order to optimise performance
  • developed leadership capability such as influencing, coaching, handling conflict, delegation, giving and receiving feedback etc.
  • developed a clear and focused action plan - and made themselves accountable for its achievement
